THE GOLDEN BOOK GOWN

A fairy-tale style dress made almost entirely from re-cycled children’s books by sustainable designer Ryan Novelline.

The entire skirt is made of the pages of discarded children’s books, sewn together with golden thread - whilst the bodice is comprised of stictched golden book spines.

There’s over 22,000 square inches of illustration in that skirt!

‘Can the stories of our past become part of a sustainable future?’

I first heard about this here.
